The tradional stone-built House of the Strato's family is situated near the center of the village, close to the village square of Kalavassos, Restaurants and coffee shops.
It has maintained its unimpaired original character for the last 300 years.
As you stroll across the stone-paved square towards the narrow streets, look out for number 16, and you will face a large front door, where Mrs Panayiota , granddaughter of Stratos, stands at the doorstep to welcome you. Inside the beautiful courtyard with its two traditional arches is decorated with a large clay vessel which goes back a long way. Three doors lead to the different apartment-rooms.
